Professor Danilo Rothberg (São Paulo State University – Unesp, Brazil) visited the Centre for Research in Communication and Culture (CRCC) at Loughborough University between 15 and 28 January 2024.
During his visit, Professor Rothberg was appointed as a Fellow at Loughborough’s Institute for Advanced Studies, contributed to a PACOPOP project workshop with other team members, and delivered a public lecture titled “Media Coverage and Pandemic Communication in Times of Populism”. The lecture is now available to watch on Professor Rothberg’s IAS Fellow bio page.
In addition, he was invited by Dr Vinicius de Carvalho to deliver a talk on PANCOPOP’s results to master’s degree students in Strategic Communications at King’s College London. His visit schedule also involved several individual meetings with Loughborough scholars on both the Midlands and the London campus.
